Deliciously Infectious was established in Seattle

Our philosophy during creation of the band was to create fun, positive, feel good music. We wanted to stay away from the dark "Seattle" sound usually associated with legendary Seattle bands.

The Band

With top notch, yet diverse musicianship, the Band created a unique sound.

Hard driving Funk Beats with Metal overtones, played at metal volumes.

Mad Mike brought amazing guitarmanship and his love of The Cars, Billy Squier, Edward Van Halen and a wide range of influences.

Gary brought a hard rock, heavy metal, hard funk drumming style to the mix. Honed by precision and power. Gary's influences include Tool, early Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Janes Addiction, RATM and RHCP among others.

Todd brought a unique bass style, using 5 string basses exclusively, emphasizing chords and a funk style. Todd's influences are Jam Bands, Janes Addiction, Primus as well as a love of Megadeth and Ska.

The album, "Smokin' 66", was released in 2009 and we played the Seattle scene for almost 3 years, including the Central, Fun House, the Fuel as well as Hayley's and Tony V's in Everett. The name, Smokin' 66 was the license plate of Todds' restored 1966 Chevy Impala.

Smokin' 66 became Deliciously Infectious and continued to work on new material. We set up recording gear and began recording the new material as well as old material that did not make it onto our first album, "Smokin' 66". Eventually, we recorded 20 tracks; 6 of which were released on Psychedelic Funk Metal. The remaining will be on the 3rd album, which is in Pre Production. - Gary Dade - Producer and Drummer

Todd Perkins uses: Markbass Little Mark Tube 800 Head, Orange OBC410 4x10 and Orange OBC115 1x15 Cabinets, Steinberger Synapse XS-15PFA 5 String Fretless, Washburn XS5 Axxess 5 String, Ernie Ball Super Slinky Nickel Wound Strings.

Gary Dade uses: A variety of Drum Kits; DW Collectors, Slingerland 1970's vintage, Pearl Custom Built Maple, Pearl Session Custom, Yamaha Birch Recording and a variety of Paiste Signature, 2002, Rude Cymbals and the identical cymbal set in Zildjian K. DW9000 Pedals.

Mad Mike uses: Bugerra Tube Head, 4x10 cabinets, A Large Arsenal of pedals and various Fender Mustangs, Jagstangs, Jazzmaster, Jaguars and a Large Collection of Self Built/Customized Guitars
